Its good...in some areas.... (2004-09-20)
I just ordered my 2nd case. MY first one is battered, bent and doesn't always latch. But it is 6 months old now and I hate to think what my Palm would be like without the case! I tried the B0000665QW from Palm - I just didn't like the feel, or the grip and it stopped latching on me after only 2 months. Yes I'm hard on my cases and my Palm spends alot time in the front pocket of my slacks which means I catch alot of table/desk corners.

Bottom line...this is just as durable as others BUT I like the flip up (instead of open as book) cover and how I still hold it in one hand and often times, I holding and pressing the buttons/screens with the same hand! Dollar of dollar, (...)

Terrible product, no matter how cheap (2004-01-14)
This is a terrible, second-rate product. First of all, calling it a "hard case" is a joke. This case is WAY TOO SOFT to protect your PDA. You can easily bend the metal with your hands. (In fact, I can bend it and I have all sorts of problems which weaken my hands!) Next, in order to charge your PDA, you must remove it from the case. Take a look at the picture. See those clips? You've got to slide your PDA in and out every time you want to charge it. Wear and tear on you AND your PDA. Poor design, poor material, poor quality.

I am returning this case and have already replaced it with a PalmOne Series Hard Case (you can find it by searching the Amazon website for this number: B0000665QW). It's a MUCH better, stronger, high quality, good-looking case. And don't be scared off by the higher price! You can actually get it from third-party vendors (click the "new & used" link under the picture) for LESS than this Fellowes sub-par case. I bought my Palm case from PerformancePDA for a GREAT price, terrific customer service, and fast delivery.
